Education Requirements and Other Requirements:
Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent
Certification/Licensure: Current Nurse Assistant certification by the State of Illinois, documentation of previous Nurse Assistant certification within the past 5 years, and/or documentation of on the job training in a patient care setting equivalent to nurse assistant training preferred.
BLS certification required
Experience Requirements: Long term care, rehabilitation, and/or medical surgical care experience preferred
Job Description
Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations, under the guidance and direction of the Registered Nurse. Job responsibilities include patient hygiene, patient mobility, vital signs, and blood glucose monitoring, as well as various housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe, clean environment.
