Arrowhead Surgery Center, Duluth's new premier multi-specialty surgical suite, is recruiting a Full-Time Clinical Director.

The Clinical Director will report directly to the ASC Administrator to collaborate on the day to day operations of the Center. They will also work closely with the Medical Director, Dr. Jared Broadway, to establish an inclusive and respectful culture centered on excellent patient care and outcomes.

Applicants should have a nursing background with experience in the perioperative and/or operating room settings. Ambulatory surgery experience is preferred. Strong leadership skills are a must. This will be a full time, salaried position with incentives based on financial and quality performance.

POSITION SUMMARY: Supervises daily clinical operations of the Surgery Center and manages the clinical and clerical staff in accordance with established Federal, State, and accreditation regulations and guidelines, as well as established Surgery Center policies and procedures. Oversees patient care activities in preoperative, postoperative, and intraoperative settings. Purchasing of required supplies, controlled drugs, and equipment. Responsible for staff development, discipline, appraisals, and new team member orientations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education/experience/licenses/Certificates/Eligibility: MN RN license, and ACLS required. Master of Science desirable. Minimum two years of OR clinical experience as an RN, with one year of administrative/management experience preferred. Ambulatory surgery center experience also preferred.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITY: Interpersonal: Excellent communication skills; oral, written and presentation. Above average organizational skills. Demonstrates a positive, friendly, and courteous manner. Serves as a role model to other staff members. Actively participates in the development of a healthy work environment.

KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of current nursing matters relating to healthcare management including QAPI. Ability to utilize resources in an organized and effective manner.
