Part-Time Dental Office Manager

 

We are a nonprofit organization looking for an experienced Dental Office Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. If you have dental office experience, we’d love to hear from you!

Important:

  • Dental office experience is a must – please do not apply if you only have coding and billing experience without a background in dental office management.
  • Billing and coding experience is not required for this position.

Job duties may include but not limited to:

  1. Administrative Management:

    • Scheduling and coordinating appointments.
    • Managing patient records and ensuring confidentiality.
    • Overseeing billing and insurance claims processing.

  2. Staff Supervision:

    • Hiring, training, and supervising office staff.
    • Conducting performance evaluations and managing staff schedules.
    • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

  3. Financial Management:

    • Monitoring budgets and financial performance.
    • Managing accounts payable and receivable.
    • Handling payroll and other financial administrative tasks.

  4. Patient Relations:

    • Addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
    • Enhancing patient satisfaction and ensuring high-quality customer service.
    • Implementing strategies to attract and retain patients.

  5. Operational Efficiency:

    • Ensuring the clinic is well-maintained and equipped.
    • Coordinating with dental suppliers and managing inventory.
    • Implementing policies and procedures to enhance clinic efficiency.

During those visits, 746 procedures (a combination of new patient evaluations, fillings and extractions) were performed. For those that wish to help, we need volunteers and donations.
