Job Title: Patient Care Associate   

Reports to: Management  

FMLA Status: Non-Exempt

Direct Care Status: Non-Direct Care

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers ascertaining there needs and answering any questions. .
  • Processes orders completed by QA team and complete remaining steps for patient dispensing.
  • Know resupply schedules for categories and items.
  • Ability to learn Respiratory and DME products.
  • Ability to verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorization for equipment or supplies when needed and know qualifications of items billed to insurance- including DME and Respiratory items.
  • Answer a high volume of incoming calls and be able to manage multiple lines when needed.
  • Possesses a good knowledge of all retail items and maintains high average of sales
  • Help stock and maintain the retail sales floor.
  • Ability to operate point of sale
  • Must maintain highest level of confidentiality and adheres to all company policies regarding confidentiality and HIPAA.
  • Complete paperwork, and orders in a timely manner while completing a high number of sales orders, with low WIP returns.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • Understanding medical terminology & being able to read and understand coverage criteria.
  • Strong computer and phone skills, ability to multitask and be able to move comfortably between computer systems and phone calls.
  • Self-motivated, organized, ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently, Excellent problem-solving and follow-up skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting, Ability to prioritize and

Job Title: Patient Success Associate   

Reports to: Front End Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cpap’s and appropriate paperwork for all in house appointments.
  • Ensure that authorizations are reviewed and either sent for update or logged on sales order
  • Verify that the items on the sales order correspond to the items that would be billed to the insurance
  • Once appointment is completed ensure that the prescription on file matches what was dispensed.
  • Assist Respiratory therapists with any questions they may have during set up’s.
  • Help stock and maintain the retail sales floor.
  • Processes orders completed by QA team and complete remaining steps for patient dispensing.

  • Possesses a good knowledge of all retail items and maintains high average of sales.
  • Schedule patients within scheduling software for respiratory appointments
  • Assist patient care department as needed
  • Return calls within a timely manner, as many calls could be time sensitive.
  • Must maintain highest level of confidentiality and adheres to all company policies regarding confidentiality and HIPAA.
  • Complete paperwork, and orders in a timely manner while completing a high number of sales orders, with low WIP returns.
  • Current with medical policies and qualifications.
  • All aspects of patient intake and proper input of all information.
  • Follow and understand medical policies to ensure items are covered.
  • Coordinates deliveries and set up of equipment.
  • Maintains clean sales orders and tasks.
  • Ability to operate point of sale.

Job Title: Warehouse Delivery/Equipment Technician
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
FMLA Status: Non-Exempt
Direct Care Status: Direct Care


General: The Delivery/Equipment Technician must be knowledgeable of all equipment and
supplies provided by Home Medical and uphold its standard for excellence. Responsible for
competent, efficient, and friendly delivery service to customers in their home. Responsible for
safeguarding company assets while in their care.
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent driving record.
  • Able to function as a polite and cooperative team member with a positive
    attitude.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • People sensitive characteristics with a desire to help others.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Will be responsible to clean and sterilize equipment on a daily basis.
  • Will be responsible to unload trucks as necessary and rotate stock while stocking shelves.
  • Responsible to keep warehouse clean, neat and organized according to the ACHC
    standards.
  • Responsible for keeping vans clean, neat and stocked with appropriate supplies and
    paperwork according to the department standards.
  • Responsible for keeping paperwork organized, filling it out correctly and handing into
    appropriate department in a timely fashion.
  • Maintaining a neat and clean appearance to include shirts tucked in, no visible piercings and
    no visible tattoos.
  • Must be able to lift 65 pounds.
  • Responsible for delivering equipment/supplies to patients. Educate the patients on the
    equipment/supplies to ensure they understand how to work properly and safely.
  • Responsible to explain and ensure patient understands the paperwork and their rights.
  • Responsible to be on call on a weekly rotation schedule.
  • Periodically available for non office hours.
  • Other duties as determined by management.

All Delivery/Equipment Technicians report directly to the Warehouse Manager.
