Community Engagement Specialist-DSS Liaison

Sandhills Center is a Local Management Entity-Managed Care Organization serving people in eleven counties in central North Carolina. We have a robust network of providers who offer treatment and support for mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities and substance use disorders.

• This position will serve as liaison to DSS offices in eleven counties. Also responsible for planning, development, coordination and implementation of member education, and community engagement to enhance Sandhills Center's involvement and impact.
• Represent organization on various external committees.

Minimum Requirements:
• Requires a Master's degree in health education or related field and two years of experience in community and program development or in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in health education, social work, psychology, business administration, public administration or related field, from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of experience of community and program development.
