We currently have an opening for a Liver Live Donor Clinical Transplant Coordinator.  This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join a  nationally renowned Live Liver Transplant program with excellent patient outcomes.

What you will do:

As part of the Living Liver Donor Team, the Clinical Transplant Coordinator II develops and uses advanced clinical management, consultation, education and research to promote quality care for living liver donors.  

Coordinates donor evaluation, which includes laboratory, radiology, and interdisciplinary consults. 

Coordinator responsible for reviewing testing results with providers, consult notes and reporting any concerns. 

Coordinator schedules Living Donor Transplant, pre-operative testing, and appointments. 

Living Liver Donor Team works closely with physicians to provide high quality care and to help get patients to transplant expeditiously. 

Coordinator Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm - No Holidays or weekends – No On Call duties.

Majority Office Based – Computer work -  Must have good communication skills.

 What we require:

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with an RN and one year of nursing experience required.

Licensure:
Current RN licensure in the State of Texas. Current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider certification or Instructor Certification required.
