Social Worker- Manager

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists the Director of Mental Health Services with oversight of mental health services. Manages the social workers, counselors and coordinators of Mental Health. Provides care for the patients and services to other customers as appropriate. Facilitates the delivery of services, evaluates effectiveness and tracks outcomes.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Master's degree in Social Work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education is preferred. Required: Three years of experience as a practicing social worker with at least one year experience in a management or lead capacity. Experience in medical or mental health setting is required.

LICENSURE
Current licensure from the Texas Department of Human Services is required.
